Presentation of the Prototype: “Vedute” Tele-Agorà

Vedute is a tele-agora that multiplies the possibilities of sharing research films with users, placing them on navigable and interactive maps. This is another of the results developed by the research unit of the IUAV University of Venice, curated by Marco Bertozzi and Nicoletta Traversa. Vedute began as a community exchange and sharing project between early cinema experts, film archives and users. The digital agora consists of a web landing page containing all the information about the project. The Agora allows users to explore hundreds of films and create their own playlists, which they can review and update later. In addition, while exploring the films, users may come across missing or not yet geolocated scenes and help the editorial team to geomap them by recognising and indicating new landscapes and, through personal posts, enrich the interactive platform with information, images and videos.
