On the beautiful streaming platform Henri of the Cinémathèque Française, it is now possible to watch a surviving extended fragment of the film La leggenda di Pierrette, directed in 1916 by Gero Zambuto for Ambrosio, starring the great Elena Makowska in the lead role. The film has been restored by our friends at the Cinémathèque Française in collaboration with our PRIN project RevIS – Revisualizing Italian Silentscapes 1896-1922.
